Do as many things outside of school as possibleNov 06 2011History/Histories (art history/etc.)
Do as many things outside of school as possible like coach a team, volunteer, etc. to show you are a well rounded student. The school is not too hard to get into but you want to be able to get a nice scholarship. I recieved a 17,000 scholarship per year and a 10,000 grant per year.
SAT: 1720 Female
CUA has an 80% acceptance rate, my only adviceNov 18 2010Political Science
CUA has an 80% acceptance rate, my only advice is to get your application in early (or do early action) so you get a chance at some scholarship money because the school is expensive- but worth every penny.
SAT: 1500 Female
Apply early, but nowadays it doesn't matterNov 03 2010Language - French/Spanish/etc.
Apply early, but nowadays it doesn't matter. Its such an expensive school that there are less people applying.
ACT: 29 SAT: 1070 Female
Contact the admissions office all senior year, convince themOct 19 2010Education
Contact the admissions office all senior year, convince them to accept you
ACT: 21 SAT: 1020 Female
Side note: someone gave the city a rating of "FMay 31 2009English
side note: someone gave the city a rating of "F." How anyone can rate Washington D.C. with an F, considering the bunches of free things to do there, the easy access to it--on the subway right off of campus, the beauty and cleanliness of DC., the power and the rich history of DC, is beyond my comprehension. The must have been referrring to the immediate outside neighborhood of CUA?. Don't go there. That area is very dangerous. So in the daytime, catch the metro right at the edge of campus, and do the endless, endless things that are available to you in the beautiful REAL DC area where all the historical, government, political, and museum institutions are.
