I applied online and paid $70 fee.
I first attended DeVry College of New York, a private school, I chose Baruch because I thought it was good and I could save money. However, after I went to Baruch for a semester, I finally realized how good DeVry was: faculties care about us like their kids, teaching is much better, always get good motivation... my suggestion is: nothing is perfect in all aspects, if you want quality and hands-on education, don't go to Baruch but pay more to go to a private school and so; if you just want a degree without paying anything and not caring about the education quality, you may go there.

I was afraid I would not make it into the school since their acceptance rate is only 23%. Luckily I did but then because I went to high school abroad, I had to take placement tests. I did not pass the math but they placed me in a college algebra class which was free.

Not that hard. Just have a decent GPA and SAT scores. If you're going to come here, I suggest applying to the honors program. I applied and I am currently in the Baruch Honor Program (not the Macaulay one). For that, make sure to have SAT score at around 1200 (reading and math) and a GPA in the 90s.
