I was very active in HS, from singing, band, theatre, varsity fencing, NHS, Spanish Honors Society, etc. etc. etc. I lived abroad my junior year with my family, and that added even more experiences to my list. My recommendation is to show your commitment to academics and extracurriculars, bc Case wants to see that you will be able to juxtapose scholarship and society. It's not any good getting a biology degree if you later won't be able to handle presenting your dissertation.
