I went online and requested info from wwwFeb 11 2009Interior Design
I went online and requested info from www.disd.edu and met with the Director of Admissions and got a tour of the campus. The student work they had on display was amazing and I though there was no way I was going to be able to do that kind of work. Three years later my stuff was hanging on those same walls. I can't wait to graduate, only 1 semester left.

The application process is pretty standardFeb 11 2009Interior Design
The application process is pretty standard. I had to have good grades from high school and my previous college. I had to get a couple of letters of recommendation.

Design Institute is very selective when it comes toFeb 11 2009Other
Design Institute is very selective when it comes to who attends the college. I had to go through two interviews (approximately 2 hours) to be considered for acceptance. I had to submit all of my academic records plus two references. I had to write an essay about, my goals, expectations, and plans for the future. I also had to outline my reasons for selecting Design Institute. I must say I was a little nervous through the entire process and relieved and excited when I was accepted.
