Tips mention:
Interview (4),
ACT/SAT (37),
Grades (12),
Sports (2),
Essay (13) | Decent grades are accepted for now but the school has been rising among the ranks every single year. Get here now, because it will be an elite school in the near future. Big plans are underway and because it is a for-profit school that knows how to invest their money, the recession didn't really cut back production and output. Many state of the art buildings are being built right now and its only going to be recognized as a better university from here on out. School of Information | Sep 20 2011 | All I did to get in was have good grades and high SAT score. I recommend prospective students check to see if the university is ACTUALLY going to have room for you. Classes are already over-packed and so are the residence halls.

| May 14 2009 | I graduated high school with about a 3.0. Colleges like to see improvement, so if you weren't active in anything freshman year of high school and had horrible grades, a steady increase in grades and becoming more active looks good. Also a good essay. It's generally pretty easy to get into Drexel though, it tends to be a back-up/safety school which is why most students aren't too attached to the school itself. | Sep 16 2008 | Just do the typical things to get into college. Keep your grades up and stuff like that, nothing special. However, you ARE required to have 2 letters of recommendation, one from a teacher and one from a guidance counselor, that might be the most difficult criteria but applying to Drexel was very simple. The SAT scores aren't that important really. I've scored a 1680/2400 which isn't anything to brag about but I was still accepted and my financial aid wasn't bad (but it wasn't great either). I wouldn't recommend this school but if you have your heart set out and you can afford to come here, then by all means go ahead. |
