I was smarter that most of the applicants, and I only got a 25 on the ACT. Pathetic!

Honestly, as long as you are determined to get into the school you should be able to make it. I know students here who didnt do good on their ACTs or do good on their GPA, but they got in because they pulled up their grades junior/senior year.

My freshman and sophmore years of high school, my grades were not particularly great. However, I worked very hard my junior and senior years and boosted my GPA. I think having a good GPA and ACT or SAT score helps tremendously. Also, community service and being involved will help.

I applied as an adult student, and had a 2.5 from my last college attended. This is about money not the noble peace prize so if you gave a 2.0 or higher somewhere you'll get in.

I got in by finding and advisor then applying.
I think you should visit some faculty before you make a decision.
