It is very attractive to receive a scholarship here, but given the chance, you should go to a school near a larger city like Boston, Chicago, LA, SF, NY, etc. so that you can live in the real world while learning about it. It seems ironic to prepare yourself for the real world while living in a bubble.

Do not submit your ACT/SAT if they are low since it is test-optional. Stay the night at Denison to see if you like it.

It's not too too hard, but your numbers need to be above average. I got a 1980/2400 on the new SAT and had a 3.4ish GPA (top 30%). Good, but not spectacular. However, I also had three major extracurriculars (captain of the swim team, Eagle Scout, and some drama stuff) and I think that really helped. I got in with a good chunk of merit aid, so take that as you will.

Good scores and lots of community service. Dont fall for the work study, it's not available here.
