I'm doing ROTC to get in. It's a full scholarship ($15,000 yr)...but since the university is now $21,000 a year, I have to come up with the difference. It helps save alot of money, and you get a guaranteed job afterwards in our fight against the bin laden.

It is pretty easy to get admitted ERAU, but you have to be ready for the work. This isn't a party school, but it's not a study school either. Just do well in high school (gpa 3.0+) and in SATs (1100+,higher if you want to do engineering) and be involved in extra-curricular activities.

Getting in is easy - mainly because the first-year students generate most of university's income. Once in, the failure rate is high - they actually want to raise it to 60%. Making classes more difficult is fine if it adds to educational value. Doing so just to meet some benchmark is something I can't say on this site. They seem myopically focused on it everywhere and it makes the experience disguisting. Ivy leagues make it unbelievably hard to get in; this school makes it easy to get in but pushes out most people after taking 20K+ out of their pockets. Pretty clever but not what a school should strive for.

Easy as pie. (I don't really get this expression but you understand what I mean.) They'll take your money until you WANT to leave (or graduate)!!!!

I had a 1270 SAT score. I did not take the ACT. I was heavily involved in: band/orchestra, my Air Force Civil Air Patrol program, and was on the Water Polo team.
