Getting was a little difficult at first considering that in high school I didn't have enough maths. Though my counselors worked with me and I began to push myself and look where I am now. Most definately keep your head up.

Have good grades and high SAT scores obviously, but one thing you need to do is APPLY EARLY. You would be foolish not to. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Had a 3.8 GPA in high school, attended a catholic high school outside of Washington, DC, took the SAT, and talked to several alumni in the DC area before deciding to attend.

Grades aren't as important but they are starting to get strict. Just make sure you are involved in plenty of extra-curricular activities because that really makes you stand out and it helps them tell that you have more interest other than getting drunk, smoking and getting laid.
Business - Management and Administration
For out-of-state students, apply early, maintain at least around a 3.5 or higher GPA in high school, and participate in extra-curricular activities. Also make connections with local alumni and attend freshman meet and greets which are held in DC, NYC, Virginia Beach, Boston, and Atlanta.

Education
Filled out the application, wrote the check, and sent it in. (My transcript from the community college was exemplary and was probably how I got in.) If you want to go to ECU, by all means, fill out the application! Broaden your horizon (don't be just book smart--try volunteering if you are not involved in extra-curricular activities at your current school. It really is a great school. The gripes I have can be fixed with student involvement.
English
