Keep on top of the registrar's office. They are inept! They gave me denials at least twice because of their own misunderstandings and I am an A student for the all of my most recent classes. The Dean of Student's office is useless. The university could save money by dropping that department entirely. They are biased toward the school and do not serve the students, which is their purpose. I don't expect them to be on my side when I am wrong, but they have blown off some significant issues.
I wasn't a very serious HS student and only had a 2.5GPA. However, my SAT scores were pretty decent. If you are an in state student and have at least a 2.2GPA and decent SAT scores, you should have no problems getting in. ECU seems to be a backup school for most.
