TNS does not focus on test scores and they tend to view your application from a holistic viewpoint. They really focus on quality essays from applicants. One thing that I think made my application stand out was the fact that I referenced a student newspaper article in the supplemental essay, which showed that I had really researched the school.

I chose to go to Lang because I gotDec 28 2012Philosophy
I chose to go to Lang because I got a lot of money to go there. IF YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN A SCHOLARSHIP DON'T BOTHER. SUCH a waste of money and time! Not to mention emotional health! have always wanted to go to NYC and study writing. Seemed like an inexpensive way to achieve an intellectual experience with people who were just as curious and progressive as I was. However, I was mistaken. I think one would be better off going to a state school for the same amount of money, and doing your art/writing in your spare time. Or going to a different school for the same amount of money.

Nothing. This school is ridiculously easy to get into. The only thing you need to do is be able to pay for it.
