Students with solid grades and scores should just apply - Ferrum has really been pushing for top students.
Students with questionable scores and grades should be persistent. Call the admissions office - set up multiple visits, let the school know you really want to be there - it will make a difference.
It was fairly easy to get into this school. I just made sure that my grades were good, and then I went to the website and got the information, sent it in, and was accepted. The registrar was very helpful during the whole process.
