Seriously, unless you are paying for your own classes, select another university or campus. Kent Campus is the worst.
If you are like me, active duty, and mustMay 30 2013PreMed and Medical
If you are like me, active duty, and must go to this school because of distance issues and other circumstances, make sure you treat it like it's any other military facility where you turn paperwork in and someone doesn't account for it at all. Make copies of everything and call and check in often to make sure it's being processed or has been processed and make sure you know exactly what papers are needed and exactly what you must do for admission and/or financial aid. Most of the staff that work there are prior service members and I hate to say it but they have basic government training as opposed to years of experience as a seasoned civilian that has a high end degree and hasn't been programmed to view people as numbers. For financial aid, most of this headache probably wouldn't be so unbearable if you were using TA as opposed to using the Pell Grant, but for those who are active duty, we all know how that goes. No one has time to wait a year until they even consider giving you a benefit they promised you initially.
