I did well in high school and took the ACT test, but only got a 25. However that was good enough for the Coloniel Dickinson Scholarship. Fill out an application and take a tour of the campus. I stayed overnight with a friend before I decided this was the college for me.
I just applied and got accepted nothing that special. However I additonally applied for one of the school's academic scholarships even though my GPA in high school was less than impressive. The school is very generous about giving scholarships and I recommend everyone apply for any scholarships that are offered.
I honestly didn't do much specifically for this school. I would recommend trying to get your test scores at or above the cut for the Fairleigh Dickinson Scholarship (the highest possible award). This makes attending the school much less of a burden.
Have decent SATs of at least 1050, and show a passion to want to learn. My son had some great extracurricular activities that showed a lot of leadership potential.
