I applied through the common app and sent sat scores. If you want to get in, they expect either a high gpa or high sat score. They also value good works of writing so make sure your essay is high quality. If you do noy have high scores, the only way they will take a second look at you is if you come from a low income family, in which case (if they accept you) you will be given the resources to help you have a smoothe transition into an enviroment of higher academic rigor and they will support you financially as well (this is one of the few good aspects of fordham).

If your smart enough to get into Fordham youDec 31 2016Accounting
If your smart enough to get into Fordham you probably were smart enough to get into an Ivy League. Fordham was once a safety school for the Ivy League however the university has only gotten more and more challenging to gain acceptance. High academic grades are a must, extra curricular activities and a solid letter of recommendation is the bare minimum. Fordham will soon have a lower acceptance rate and with this comes interviews for potential students. Apply early and your chances will increase. Good luck future Rams.

Attain good grades, have extracurricular activities, be diverse and stand out amongst your peers. Getting into Fordham is a gamble you may or may not get in. Best of luck to all future applicants.
It's all grades andMar 12 2016Business - Management and Administration
It's all grades and test scores. Test scores help in the college rankings game and Fordham is all about the rankings. There is no loyalty given to applicants whose entire family has gone to Fordham. One here I learned that the admissions staff knows what SAT scores are needed to improve ranking and no matter what you did in HS, if your SAT is even 10 points below, you won't get in.
