This school is easy to get accepted toJan 16 2016Unknown
This school is easy to get accepted to. Basically don't flunk all of your classes and you will be fine.
If you have a pulse, you'll probably get inApr 27 2014Nursing
If you have a pulse, you'll probably get in to the university. The nursing program is another matter. They don't tell you this as a high school senior, of course, but only 40 students are admitted to the nursing department every sophomore year. If you don't get in, you're screwed. You can either wait around another year, wasting a huge amount of tuition and hoping to be admitted in the next cycle, or transfer elsewhere where your credits will probably not be honored. When I was a student, there were over 80 pre-nursing majors. There were lots of disappointed people. So if you plan to major in nursing, know the risk because they don't tell you until you're already committed.
I got a good score on the ACT andNov 02 2013Mechanical Engineering
I got a good score on the ACT and kept my grades up in High School. This is a challenging university, at least compared to the private university in my home town where I took post secondary classes. If you work hard and get involved in school activities like student senate or class officer you have a better chance of being accepted. Community service also looks great on college applications, especially at Franciscan.

Took the ACT, and that was itOct 25 2013Unknown
Took the ACT, and that was it. I think you have to have like a 2.0 to get in or something crazy like that. It's super easy to get in, and the academics are not difficult. If you fail out of anything, just change your major to catechism and you're good to go. I would be astonished if someone couldn't get in/couldn't graduate.
I just showed upOct 18 2013Psychology
I just showed up. It wasn't hard to get in back in the 70s. The College almost went bankrupt back then. They credit Fr Michael Scanlan with saving it by bringing in the Charismatics. But they were desperate for students so it wasn't a problem to get in, back then. Its very expensive to go there today. At $30k/yr with books and living expenses, it seems that FUS would be prohibitively expensive for most Catholics.
