Not very hard to get in hereJan 28 2016English
Not very hard to get in here. If you get good grades in high school (3.3-4.0 GPA) you will get more money to the school. They give a lot of financial aid.
I responded to the essay 'happy place' (or whateverFeb 25 2015Perfomance Arts
I responded to the essay 'happy place' (or whatever it's titled). Definitely do a lot of volunteer work because they love how it looks on the application. You REALLY want to get into this campus? Money. MONEY MONEY MONEY! You're gonna need a lot of it.
I didn't do anything special to get inApr 21 2013English
I didn't do anything special to get in. I submitted my test scores (SATs and SATIIs) but you don't have to.

Come on now! The most common GPAs for GoucherApr 13 2013Unknown
Come on now! The most common GPAs for Goucher were from 2.5-2.9! The average SATs were in the 500s. 25% had a score in Math SAT below 480. now that is pretty hard to do! Low 20s ACT scores will get you in. A sizable number of students (13%) were in the bottom half of their graduating class, Most were in the top, obviously but not the top 10%. This is not a school for academic stars. Getting in should not be that difficult.
Based on my grades and test scores alone, IOct 31 2012English
Based on my grades and test scores alone, I would not have gotten into Goucher. I did however, have a lot of extra-curricular and I consider myself to be a very above-average writer, so my essay was very above-average. Take that to mean what you will as far as admissions goes.
