1) Be prepared to meet the people who decide whether or not to accept you for a personal interview. This is almost a requirement for acceptance especially when you love within 500 miles of Grove City.
2) Good grades in high school plus a combined reading and match score of above 1230 would help. 3) Give them the impression that you are a dedicated Christian willing to strengthen your beliefs. If you are not a Christian, given them the impression that you are not hostile to the Christian world view.

I had good grades in high school, a 4.01, was at the top of my class, and participated in sports and clubs.

Do not go here. It is not what is is cracked up to be.

Well if you really want to get it, all you have to do is bury your nose firmly up the administrations ass and plant your lips on one of those cheeks. You can be the dumbest person to ever go to college and still get into GCC as long as you tell them you love God and you're poor and have been praying your whole life to get in there. Seriously, I'm not sure why they even ask for your SAT scores. People have gotten in with some truly atrocious scores.

While I don't reccomend this school, to get in, make sure that high school extracurriculars are sufficient, and of course, have good grades and test scores.

An interview is always recommended. Admissions staff make that clear every year. My high school grades were solid B+/A-, and my SATs were decent, but below my class average. I was also involved in some MEANINGFUL extra-curricular activities in high school. I don't think being a member of 57 stupid clubs is as important as being an active participant in a select productive few. I had an interview and thought it went well. It was relaxed, I was HONEST, and I was realistic. Be honest and be candid. Will it get you in? Not necessarily, but that's not the point. The point is being truthful, honest, and doing your best - not doing everything and anything to get what you want, even if it means lying and deceiving people for it. America loves pragmatism, but it's wrong.

Take the ACT. My sat's weren't as good as a lot of my friends, but my ACT got me in...

You should focus on being well rounded. Don't rely too heavily on academics, but make sure you show leadership and creativity in what you bring to GCC.

I went because I was offered financial aid to play football.
