The main reasons why I decided to go toSep 16 2010Accounting
The main reasons why I decided to go to this school is because is non-profit, they have extremely practical hands on majors, and the school year goes all year. I like this school so much, because the accounting program for graduate students is not only challenging, but personally I have learned a lot. I have learned the things I needed to learn to be admitted to my current intership at a hospital as the assistant of the main accountant. Since, GGU makes it easier to get a degree in a timely manner I have already decided that in a few years more I am going to come back and finish another degree. I am about to finish my Masters of Accountancy (I am 24)and later on I want to come back and do a Masters in Taxation. I am very interested in becoming an expert in taxation and a CPA and I know GGU will provide me with the units and knowledge I need to pass the exam.

I recommend it if your are already a workingDec 01 2007Computer Science
I recommend it if your are already a working professional. For a new student from high school, itwould be a bad idea. It's costly and for transfer student going to the UC system should go to a community collge instead. There isn't a social network, the student body id pretty depressing as there isn't any school activity or students younger than 25...

My college track-record was not very good and highJul 27 2005Business - Management and Administration
My college track-record was not very good and high school had been average to above average for the most part. I had a few college coures under my belt from several years prior, but had dropped out for a variety of reasons. So I didn't meet the standards GGU looks for in applicants when I first applied. After a special appeals process with letters of recommendation and consideration of my career track-record being top-notch compared with crappy academic history, I was admitted conditionally (had to do 2 semesters at 2.5 GPA or higher to get out of conditional status).

I would recommend letters of recommendation (whether your academic history is good or not), take or re-take the SAT and score at 1100 or higher, and try to have a 3.0+ to get in.
