You need to have a good background in Math,Feb 12 2014Other
You need to have a good background in Math, Reading, and Writing to pass the Compass Assessement. The math that is tested surprised me, as it includes quadratic equations, rational #'s and rational equations, and is mostly application word problems. The "remedial" math classes teach math through quadratic equations. I was very surprised to find out this information. You HAVE to know a lot to qualify to attend, but you don't have to know everything. It's always best to take the assessments, then take the classes offered to prepare you if you don't make the cut scores. The staff is very helpful in teaching you what you need to know.

I simply applied to get inJul 02 2011Business - Management and Administration
I simply applied to get in. I was accepted. They took six weeks to go over my transcripts only to give me no credit for the 120 credits from my former college. I would say this school is not a school to transfer to, this is not a school to attend for continuing adult education; this is a school for students who are fresh out of high school and don't know anything about proper school procedures and policies with the government.

It was not difficult to get into this schoolFeb 16 2010Other
It was not difficult to get into this school. It is a technical school. I recommend any and every student looking for a good school to find a different school. Between the financial aid department errors, the advisement office misguidance, the unwillingness of the supervisory staff to remedy problems, and instructor error, your academic record is at great risk.
