Hollins accepts just about everyone and you can almost be guaranteed to get accpeted. Admission is not the issue, it's the school itself. Biology major is poorly structured and can be much more rigirous. Biochem is not even a major here.
Kept my high school gpa up and took both the SAT and ACT. Also, an essay is required with your application. Be involved in high school and if you aren't, be open and willing to join new clubs/organizations in college. Interview at Hollins is generally laid back yet provides you with lots of information. Definitely come for an over night visit and meet your admissions counselor.
Make sure Hollins knows that your interested. All though I was not a straight A student in high school I made an effort to make sure Hollins knew that it was my first and pretty much only choice.
