Hope College has a small student body usually only a few more than 3000 students. I found that the college accepts 90% of those who apply and will give scholarships in the name of “diversity”. The accepted Freshmen of my class had an average high school g.p.a. of 3.4. Acceptance to Hope isn’t too difficult but it is a demanding college. more at hope.edu more specificly

Don't treat high school like a time to slack off. If you don't want to pay out of pocket or become burdened with massive student loans, try for an academic scholarship. Both the admissions office and the financial aid office have wonderful staff. Work study once you are on campus is readily accessible.
Political Science
Student Congress, Fraternities, The Pull, Intramural sports, Union of Catholic Students, etc.
Engineering Department
I had a low GPA in HS, but did great on my ACTs. Your GPA really means nothing, I know lots of people who went to super small high schools in little towns, where getting a 4.0 is easy as cake.
