My high school resume was pretty good so I knew I was going to get in. However, I had a lot of concerns about the school coming in. The graduation and freshman retention rate are very low (now I understand why). This school is very easy to get into if your parents donate money. It is very obvious a lot of people were accepted not based on their performance in High School, but by how much their family donated.

Take a tour! Show a lot of interest. If you make it clear in your application that this is the place you want to be, they'll want you. After all, why would they accept someone who doesn't really want to come here?

It isn't hard to get in, has a high acceptance rate, but if you want a scholarship and especially the presidential one which I got you will need an 1200 (no writing section) or over plus a good performance in the interview to get it.

I wan't too concerned about getting in. Reach out to your admissions counselor. But please reconsider applying. It is not the school you think it is.
