Getting accepted to Hampden-Sydney is honestly a jokeNov 03 2014Economics
Getting accepted to Hampden-Sydney is honestly a joke. If you received an application from admissions, you're about 90% of the way to getting in. The school is trying to up it's reputation of being competitive, but only by allowing far more applications than we actually have beds to put people in.
SAT: 1545 Male
Acceptance rate may as well be 100%Jun 20 2014Other
Acceptance rate may as well be 100%... Just write a name on an application and you'll be accepted. Apply to U of R for a real education, that is if anyone from HSC could possibly even complete the U of R application let alone get accepted.
Study hard, get good grades, and good standardized testMar 19 2014Unknown
Study hard, get good grades, and good standardized test scores. The college also places a lot of emphasis on character. This means a lot to them.
ACT: 19 Male
Because the College is statistically made up of whiteFeb 27 2014Chemistry
Because the College is statistically made up of white southerners, you may have a higher chance of getting in if you're from a different state, a minority, or have the money.
It's easy to get in, hard to stayJan 05 2014Undecided
It's easy to get in, hard to stay. I got in ED with a 2.5 and 1520 3 part SAT's, but it could vary at other high schools. Mostly B's with a C in there shouldnt kill your chances. Applying early gives you a HUGE advantage.
