I did my very best both when I took my ACT test and in my high school classes. I recommend taking good college prep classes, because they look at that more than test scores. In fact, submitting your ACT score is optional. Spend plenty of time on essays on your application and let your personality show through.
getting in is very easy. the goal should be financial aid. a good GPA and SAT/ACT will get you a fat check. the application is very short and when i applied it didn't even require an essay, so being accepted at IC should be no problem.
