"IF", and I say "IF", you must go toJul 01 2017Unknown
"IF", and I say "IF", you must go to Illinois Central College for ANY medical program, be prepared to play the game. It is very frustrating and unforgiving. The health careers department will destroy your hopes in a very short time. Also do not plan on getting out of the school in a relative short time. You will be in the school for an extended stay.

Community CollegeSep 20 2013PreMed and Medical
Community College. Fill out an application, provide High School or GED documents, take the placement test, register, pay tuition, go to classes. The health care programs are very backed up, you could not get in for several years even if you get good grades and do everything right. They will not tell you this when you start. They want your money. Who cares if your life and livelihood are at stake. If you can go somewhere else do so, if not it is very affordable for college.

I transfered here from SRC after only a few semesters. All I had to do was take a placement test, transfer my transcript and do the usual paper work. Even though it has not happened to me, paper work has a tendency to be 'lost', but that is just heresy. If you stay on top of what you need to do, it is typically a smooth process.

It's easy. Apply and take placement tests. It's a community college it's not too cut throat.
