Get involved on campusJul 02 2010Unknown
Get involved on campus. Put some effort into your studies and you will be rewarded by this faculty. You get into it what you put in. The professors I have had are not vondictive and really want you to do well. They are not at all arrogant and they don't try and bully you like at some major schools. This school really lives up to their reputation.

Give JSU a real close lookJun 29 2010Business - Management and Administration
Give JSU a real close look. You will be pleasantly surprised!
ACT: 21 Male
If your grades & SAT/ACT is halfway decent, youJun 24 2010Unknown
If your grades & SAT/ACT is halfway decent, you should be okay for admission. The Admissions people are really friendly and will work with you any way they can. They become your friends & advocates.

It's too hectic on Preview Days for me- come back and make an appointment another time if you don't get warm fuzzies on Preview Day. Don't get tuned off by the fact that some of the buildings look older than some of the other schools you may be considering. They are really well maintained, clean, and renovations are going on continually. And please keep in mind that it's what's beneath the surface that counts. This place really is the friendliest campus in the south, just like the slogan says. They are proud of that and live up to that rep.

Put in the effort into your education, and I think you will reap some really good grades. I'm in the pre-business program, and liking it so far.

Come visit here more than onceJun 14 2010Business - Management and Administration
Come visit here more than once. COme on a preview & non-preview day. Check out a football game and see the Marching Southerners. Some fraternities & sororities are okay, some are not. So if you go Greek, be very selective!
ACT: 21 Female
Go visit on a non-preview day and spend timeMay 27 2010Business - Management and Administration
Go visit on a non-preview day and spend time with your admissions counselor. Ask for a tour of the new stadium dorm- it's gorgeous!
