It was extremely easy to get into JWU (culinary). I applied when I was 24, and the only thing I did was send in the application...no essay or SAT scores were needed for me (my scores were out of date anyway). i have no idea if they accepted me because of my age (older than the typical college student). My GPA in high school was relatively low, (2.6 I think?), and I still had no problem getting in. HOWEVER, from hearing rumors around campus that the acceptance process is beginning to be a lot more difficult, you'll have to look at the current requirements before you take my word for it.

I strongly suggest this school for culinary arts/baking&pastry/nutrition or hospitality majors, not so much for business majors. Many people I know who currently are in business majors are very dissatisfied, but then again JWU is not known for its business college.

I did nothing to get in besides show my transcript at a meeting. A friend of mine was sent an acceptance letter who had no interest in the school and who never even applied. Goes to show how selective they are, huh?

I showed up one day and gave them a look at my high school transcript. The guy I interviewed with after the tour said he will take it back to the office to review and that he would be back in five minutes. He came back out with an acceptance packet and merit award sheet printed out. This is not how admissions should be. They seemed so desperate to get me there that they just decided to accept me on the spot without any sort of application process. I filled out no paper and was awarded a ton of money. Big mistake though.

Its easiest. You don't require a GMAT or GRE. Just a Bachelor's Degree and some work experience.
