Pretty much anyone can get in, but they're more selective on who gets freshman scholarships such as the initial portfolio review one. Any ACT is fine, and a portfolio that makes it look like you at least TRIED is all that's needed.

I found the staff very helpful, and Kendall took credits I had from so long ago they were on microfilm.

The college gives a portfolio grant, so get busy and produce the best stuff you can before you apply. And try to have a concept, or a theme running through your work. They really like that there.

I had a portfolio review to get into KCAD. I do not consider Kendall a difficult school to get into. I think there basic requirements are that you can pay for your education, it is a business after all.

You're going to have to make a portfolio, and odds are they're going to want you to go home and add to it. The people in admissions are damn near impossible to communicate with and seem no more interested in your situation than what color of socks they are wearing.
