I guess it will boil down to the numbers - SAT, COMPASS TEST, etc. Just know that every school has different cut off scores. So if your SAT math is XXX you may be required to take 'remedial' math. Look at other schools whose cut off scores will help you avoid this. Remedial courses do not apply to your GPA. The state has changed the rules and if you do not pass these courses after attempting them 3 times your out - for a long time. So check out other schools. If you need assistance to get those math scores up or on other subjects check out Khan Academy on line. It's free and its really good.
I figured with the explovie growth of KSU that it would be a greta place- WRONG! If you like the feel of a community college, you will love it here. If not, don't even look at KSU.
Do your research, take the comments on this site very seriously. What I've read here is pretty much true. Come onto campus in the evenings and on a weekend and that lack of human activity is the real deal. I am transferring to Rheinhart next year.
