Be yourself in your applications, they are tedious andOct 20 2015Anthropology
Be yourself in your applications, they are tedious and annoying and also kinda superficial, but show em your sparkle!
ACT: 27 Female
I got in as a finalist for the PosseMay 26 2015Anthropology
I got in as a finalist for the Posse scholarship, which was definitely interesting. I do not know how easy or hard it would be to get into Lafayette based on test scores and things like that, just be who you are and let it shine through your application. When I was applying Lafayette seemed very welcoming and wanting of difference and diversity- of all sorts. I don't know if they really do value that more than sports and other things. Laf can get sorta lame sometimes, but you can find ways to make it magical.
ACT: 26 Female
Make sure you show how much you really wantJan 13 2014Political Science
Make sure you show how much you really want to go to Lafayette, or at least convince the admissions staff that you really want to go. They are not very concerned with SAT or ACT scores, but more with your extracurriculars and desire to go to the school. I was a mostly B/B+ student when applying and what set me aside were my extracurriculars.
SAT: 1230 Male
I had a 3Jun 25 2013Sociology
I had a 3.85 in high school, was on the swim team, played water polo, was a girl scout, had limited volunteer experience, but had excellent writing skills.

I recommend applicants write a truly individual admissions essay. If you don't want to go to Lafayette, it shows. Do research about what is going on at Lafayette when you apply, and be sure to have an admissions interview.

Good luck!

If you really want to go here make sure you let them know it is the school you really want to go to whether or not it is your first choice. Like I said however unless you are smart you could end up very unhappy with your decision
