LC says:
"A number of things are taken into consideration for admission to Lycoming, such as strength of courses, grades, class rank, SAT scores, teacher recommendations and writing samples.

Most Lycoming College students score between 950 and 1250 on their

SAT's and rank in the top half of their class.

I feel as though getting in was rather easy. Get good grades and take interesting classes that you like and you will be fine. Lycoming isn't all about your SAT or ACT score however, do try (this is how they decide how much $ they will give you). I like that I'm not a number to Lyco that is being judged on a 3 hr test.

I recommend that you go out and meet as many people as you possibly can. Being on a small campus is great when you have a good reputation. However if you suck, and you are a weird person, don't go here, they will eat you alive.

I maintained a good GPA and SAT score to get in.

I recommend to other students to just keep a decent GPA.

I applied online. Wrote the required essay. Got my two recommendations from my 12th grade english teacher and library-boss, people who I was on excellent terms with. My high school gpa was an 83 I think. I didn't do anything extra or unique. As for recommendations, contacting the department heads that you're interested in helps (not determine) acceptance. Be interested in what the recruiters have to say and attend an open house.
