I applied online, no I would not recommend thisMar 31 2014School of Information
I applied online, no I would not recommend this degree, you don't need a degree to work in medical records. You just need to take basically 3 courses, a medical terminology, HIPPA, and EHR. You can also take the coding online for only $2000

Only two colleges offer AS HIM program in thisFeb 26 2014School of Information
Only two colleges offer AS HIM program in this area, yes but make sure you research the career, you will not make high salary as medical record Clerks, even as a Coder. Very few high pay scale jobs exist in this industry

Yes I recommend it but not the HIM program,Apr 26 2013Unknown
Yes I recommend it but not the HIM program, the degree is not valuable, and most of the jobs do not require a degree. A certificate at a local community college is sufficient.
