I simply applied after making a campus visit and once accepted headed on my way! Get in touch with the university recruitment center; they are incredibly helpful in putting you in touch with people on campus and getting folks connected with where they need to go.
Made a high enough score on my SAT, which granted me scholarship money. I would suggest that one take the ACT or SAT as many times as needed to get the score they desire.
Take your ACT or SAT tests a couple of times. They actually gave me a scholarship for making a 21 on my ACT's. They will take your highest score and not factor in your lowest.
