Anyone can get inApr 21 2014Unknown
Anyone can get in...all you need is a pulse and the money! With some money down financial aid and grants you are a shoe in. By Obama increasing the amount of grants given most students can easily get enough money to attend the school. The sad thing about it is this is Lydon State is not alone as many other colleges are raising their tuitions as well due to the ample amount of grants being given. If grants were not given out as freely as they have been, it would force colleges to compete against each other with regard to the cost of tuition. The federal government gravely affects the price of college tuition. There are 1.2 trillion dollars worth of outstanding loans, job growth is steadily decreasing, older generations are retiring later. The job market for future generations unfortunately is full of doom and gloom.

If you want to go to Lyndon, my advice is just apply in a timely fashion and you will get in. Everyone gets in!! The college is happy to get your money.

Personally if I was to do it again I would not have gone to Lyndon State College or any other college for that matter. I would have gone to a trade school for a few grand and got a steady job. In the past college grwduates earned more than stuents with only a high school diploma. That has all changed ie. Grad school graduates are now holding jobs at Starbucks as barristas. They have outstanding loans for 100k give or take...they will be paying the loans off for the rest of their lives. Now who is stupid, the machinist working full time making $20 an hour, health benefits, 1-2 weeks paid vacation or the college grad barrista working part time earning $8 an hour, no health benefits, no vacation... Who would you rather be? President Joe does not want to know...he just wants your money!

I applied, and about two weeks later I got a call saying I had been accepted. If you really want to come to this school, it's not that hard to do so.

It's really, really, REALLY, ridiculously easy to get intoMay 07 2011Meteorology
It's really, really, REALLY, ridiculously easy to get into LSC. They accept pretty much everyone who will pay, and rely on the difficulty of the classes to get rid of the idiots. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief in the local area, this place is NOT a community college. If you're an idiot, you won't make it past first semester. However, they don't require SAT scores or really any qualifications at all just to get in.
