My advice would be to keep a high GPA in high school and take the ACT/SAT a couple times. LETU does what's called 'super scoring' which means they take the highest subscores and combine them. For example; if you do really well on the math section the first time you take the test and then you take it again and you get a lower math score but you do better on the critical reading section, they will take the best math score and the best critical reading score.
To get into Letourneau we took out loans and paid exhorbitant tuition and agreed to buy our books and supplies from a system designed to charge the highest possible price and adopt a slightly revised text or curricula every semester so that nothing had resale value. Really that's about it...There was one guy who got in who really couldn't read!
