basically nothing, except paying application fee. did not even submit my test score.

Take a wide variety of courses and do moderatelyJul 20 2011Chemistry
Take a wide variety of courses and do moderately well in all of them. It's better to have B's across the board than all A's and C's. When you arrive you will be immersed in curricula from all different backgrounds- music, history, physics, art, drama, english- and you'll be better prepared if you've seen those topics before. You'll get more scholarships the better you do, and a high ACT score helps in that department (even though the school says it's not required)

LU students are a certain typeJul 13 2010Music - Performance
LU students are a certain type. The school does not require a test score to get it, but they expect the other aspects of the application (especially the essay) to speak for you. If you are passionate and have a good high school track record, you will be fine. The conservatory is much more competitive to get into, as is to be expected. Even if you don't get into the BMus program, you can still take private lessons and play in a wide variety of ensembles, or just audition again. Either way, it's a win-win.
ACT: 26 Female
