I think I just got in because they wanted the diversity, I'm from out of state, and I'm pretty sure Loyola likes the diversity. So brownee points if you're not from Illinois. Other than that, my HS GPA was only a 3.3, my SAT was ~1150 (I think, can't remember exactly). I got in immediately I recall, I doubt they even read my essay. Honestly, if you have the money, this school is easy to get into.

I sent in an application and check. It really doesn't take much. Study for your SAT/ACT, and do well is your basic courses like Math and English. Apply early. Have a teacher proofread your admissions essay.

You must do well on your ACT or SAT and have a good GPA if you wish to attend Loyola University or any other Jesuit insitution, but it does offer a well-rounded education. A good idea is to get your application in early so Loyola knows that you are serious about attending their school and are responsible about deadlines. Be truthful in your essay and make sure to answer it fully.

My school pursued me. I got in due to a fast track application...no check, no essay. But Loyola is very reasonable with their selection, for the most part. They consider peoples potential more than their actual performance thus far. But as with any school, just do what you can to look your best!
