Let me say this about this hellhole of a schoolNov 23 2011Communications
Let me say this about this hellhole of a school. When I was in high school and the guidance conselor recommended me this school because of learning disabilities, I was super excited to come there. And now when I actually attended the school, ots nothing but ATROCIOUS. Let me start off by saying the majority of the teachers are not good at teaching because all they do is give out 2 second assignments and talk talk talk and no action, there are only about a minimal amount of teachers who arr actually good. and like i said the assignments are easy as hell so you know the teacher doesn't prepare you mentally. Secondly the cafe closes WAY too early and they keep serving the same food repeatedly and the breakfast is pretty nasty. and don't get me started on the residence life and the students there. first of all majority of the security don't give a what about what happens so the cops have to come and sort things out thats how lame security is. And whenever there is damages in the buildong, the WHOLE building gets fined even the people who had absolutely NOTHING to do with it. the students are just absolutely ridiculous do to the fact that it is a school for the disabled when really people just SLACK OFF whenever there is work to be done and whenever I ask for hw some are like, "uh i don't know". and such. Like it is really easy to graduate from that school but i do feel bad for the disabled students there that actually care. Oh and about the attitude of some people there, its like they still have that high school mentality, some people think you're "weird" just because you're different, but i'll admit there are a few cool people, but all i hear from people around campus is drama drama drama drama when people love dwelling in there misery, and whenever there are social events, the same people that are bored are the same people that don't go to those events, pretty hypocritical because all i see on fb statuses of mitchell students saying how there lives are messed up and blah blah blah. some are backstabbers there too when it comes to friendship. whenever i try to open up to people there they just really dont care at all like they rather find somebody that shares the same traits as them.and there are a bunch of snots and attention seekers judemental jerks on thay campis and almosy everybody interferes in other people's business amd spread stupid rumors over the whole school due to the small campus and the nightlife is pretty boring and lame.and they say its a dry campus when its pretty omnipresent of the smell of skunk and weed and sometimes the hallways in the dorm smell like uraine, booze and do do so the halls are filthy. And whenever there is room inspection, they charge over the most ridiculous thimgs like having the wires in the middle of the floor because its a tripping hazard. oh big deal when its easy to move them. and the RA's there pick favorites with the residents and the RD's mostly the female ones. and recently they had security at the stoplight because people were "j-walking". like were in kindergarten and they would write you up with yoi did. and its a darn shame they took out the childrens learning center. and some of the property there is cheap, so they never take the time to fix it like the gym equipment there. i give it props though because its near the water. but other than that this school is a joke.
