Just don't slack of in High School. If you have a 2.5 gpa or better with average scores for SATs and a good entrance essay, you'll get in. Average work for an average school.

it's so easy to get in here. I don't think they give a hoot about your test scores or your grades. Here, if you want to be an RA, you only have to have a 2.5 gpa and to be on the Dean's list, you only have to make a 3.2 as opposed to Columbia, where it was a 3.75 or higher.

I applied to MCLA my senior year of highJul 10 2006English
I applied to MCLA my senior year of high school and I basically had a 3.6 GPA and a low SAT score, so it's not that hard to get in. When I applied again as a transfer, I had finished at Columbia with a 3.9 GPA, so I was admitted into the Honors Program. As long as you work as hard as you can academically, your test scores are pretty pointless.
