have money. Honestly I don't think it's that difficult to get in here. Applying early certainly helps, and strong essays. Do an interview.

Getting into MHC is impossible! I had a 4Apr 26 2005Physics
Getting into MHC is impossible! I had a 4.0 in high school, near perfect test scores, awesome recommendations, and a great record including nearly every exra-curricular activity offered by by high-school. I was on the men's track team, the men's baseball team, AND the men's football team, and I still never got in! I've gotten four-year scholarships to other respectable universities, but it's like MHC never gave my application a second glance.
ACT: 32 Male
I was an average High school student making A's,Mar 02 2005Political Science
I was an average High school student making A's, B's,C's and I even failed a class. I was involved in Theatre but I dont think thats why I got in. Just write a great essay that isnt too cheesy and give it a shot. If I got in then anyone can.
SAT: 1300 Female
The essay is a major part of the applicationJun 09 2004Chemistry
The essay is a major part of the application...take it seriously! Also, although not required, take the time to visit campus and have an interview. And if Mount Holyoke is your first choice for college, make sure they know that. It will definitely make a difference if they know that you will attend in the fall if accepted.
