Having said all that, I did not do very great on the SATs and did not get into my first choice school. Looking back on it, however, I truly believe the saying "everything happens for a reason" because I really couldn't see myself happy anywhere else. I was very involved with a lot of extra curricular actives including playing sports and a lot of community service. I visited Marist more than 3 times and worked hard in school! I also would suggest doing a shadow day at Marist to get the feel of a day in the life of a Marist student. Communications
| Apr 02 2012 | I did a lot of extra carriculars, marist loves that. Show some drive and determination when applying and you can get in. As for sports if you're pretty high up there marist has a good GIRLS basketball team. Communications
| Nov 01 2011 | Marist College is all about volunteering, sports, etc. Show you are an involved high school student; they will assume this means you will get involved on campus as well, which is what they want.If you are of some ethnicity that is not Caucasian, put it on your applications. Marist is attempting to diversify its student population. |
