If you want to get in, go to the on-site admissions programs they have at high schools. Although I reccommend you go somewhere else.
Accounting
I got very good grades and i owe it all to my parents they helped me a loT. And not being scared to ask for help.and have great communication skills allways stay postive I also got into activities I played basketbal I still do that help me maintain my courage and confidence to succeed.

I had about a 3.0 but took all AP classes. I have good work experience in my field, and wrote a very good essay. I also participated in a huge number of activities in HS, so grades weren't the only thing they looked at

My GPA in high school wasn't too great, but I smoked the ACT. I had a lot of friends who had decent GPA's but didn't do well on their ACT's and didn't get accepted. It seems like it gets more competitive every year.

Good grades, and good ACT scores always help. Extra activities. The univeristy is a land-grant college and tries it's best to get a good mix of students, as opposed to the other school down I-96.

Lyman Briggs (School of Natural Science – usually Pre-Med)
James Madison (usually Pre-Law Students)
MSU College of Telecommunications All these have great bragging rights and might suit one of your interests! A high GPA is the biggest help, MSU does look at ACT & SAT scores – so do your best on those.
