They have very low standards and are interested in having you sign up for as many loans as possible. Many students are foreign nationals and you'll have problems with religious kids whining about them not "teaching Bible values". They do not have any nationally renowned programs at all and their tuition is so high you might as well go to a reputable place in the beginning. You can go to Texas A&M, Texas Tech and many more for the same price.

Students also need to be made aware that if you are looking to finish your degree elsewhere it's best to check the Common Course Number System as I stated earlier and to make sure you CLEP test out of as many subjects as possible. They are also racially discriminatory as poor "white" students get no financial aid in the form of grants or scholarships.

I transferred out and also found that the rigor of MSU classes is substandard and overpriced. Students would do better to study on their own and to go elsewhere period. If you attend MSU you're cheating yourself out of an education and getting into debt that is just not worth it.

It was easy to get in, financial aid deptNov 16 2015Nursing
It was easy to get in, financial aid dept is great, teachers are great, I wish I knew before I wasted 3 years at this place and racked up thousands in loans and having to start all over again at an associate college.

It was easy to get into because they only care about how many ridiculous fees they can charge you. Tuition keeps going up but not one single company in town pays a living wage. You top out at $10/hr working for Christian bigots who will short your paycheck. Yes, you read that correctly.

I went there hoping to get in the nursing program and they kept telling me to take classes that i didn't even need and yet at the end, put me on a waiting list and accepted people from out of state just because of their double tuition they will be paying to attend.I would say run from MSU Midwestern State University do not go this school.
