Like most public universities in the South (at least that I know of), you can pretty much get in as long as you are breathing. HOWEVER, to get any substantial scholarships you will probably need a 3.75 GPA, unless you are a good essayist and willing to do a lot of service hours, you might be able to get the full ride Buchannan Scholarship with a 3.5, but then you are also obligated to service hours, and must graduate through the honors program(which includes undergraduate thesis work, a couple of extra lecture series, and 31 honors credit hours at various levels). There are some scholarships for minorities as well I believe. If you have questions about the honors program, you can email me and I will try to help you out (I'm not making any promises though.)
