Don't bother applyingApr 08 2019Communications
Don't bother applying. It's a waste of four years that will lead to a subpar job after graduation.

Get the transcripts mailed inFeb 05 2019Business - Management and Administration
Get the transcripts mailed in. Explain what makes four years at one school such an opportunity and blessing. Talk of your high school extra curiculars and activities. The school has great care for good people and good students.

If you are a minority, a first generation studentMay 12 2015Criminal
If you are a minority, a first generation student or from a low income family I strongly recommend applying to the EOP (Education Opportunity Program) TRio program. I would not have graduated without them. But, a word of caution. They will limit your first semester to 12 credits which can set you back if you fail any classes at all. There is a 128 credit minimum for Arts and Science (you last 30 MUST be at Marquette to graduate) and many students in this program were forced to take an extra semester if they had done poorly or took the wrong classes for their major.

If you want to get in: I had performed a fair amount of volunteering and was in a leadership position for a club I helped create. I also scored a 25 on my ACT. Marquette gave me a small but somewhat helpful Ignatius scholarship and EOP gave my a grant to pay for school.

I was a transfer student with a 3.5 gpa. Other than that, I did not do much. So the easiest thing to do is to have a good gpa in high school or for a college transfer.
