Many Marquette Alumni have special alumni endorsed applications. If you can find an alum who is willing to provide it, I highly recommend using this application.

To get into this University, I really did not have to try that hard. The application process was easy, the essay I wrote in less than half hour, and was not my best piece of work. But, other than that, the hardest part was waiting from the university on whether or not I was accepted. If you think that the Private, Jesuit University is your thing, then go for it, I found myself, the hard way that that is not what I wanted, and got myself feeling depressed and whatnot.

MU has rolling admission - they accept pretty much everyone. Lots of people apply here for their safety school choice which is why they get lots of app's. Good nuturing enviroment for those near the top of their class w/ a 25-30 on the ACT's

I would recommend that your ACT is above a 24, and right a very good essay. Make sure that you include things that separate yourself from others and other positive social impacts you hope to have or have had.

I was really involved in 2 different organizations in High school, did well and was in the top 10% of my class. All people in the top 10% of my h.s. class were admitted, and many beyond there. I'd recommend applying early, because they do waitlist people, and the nursing program is VERY competitive. I transferred into it; I was one of 7 to get in last semester internally, 1 externally transferred in, and 70 applied. So..there's some food for thought. The nursing program is excellent and the faculty is so much different and better than any other I've had in college and this is my second college.

apply early, then you only have to do one essay and the application is easy. Its not early decision, just a faster app.
