Essay (11) | Had a 3.3 gpa, but with a extremely positive trend (2.2 in freshman and 4.2 in senior).
Had about above average SAT scores (1330 w/o writing).
I think my essay was good but nothing spectacular.
I don't know about my recommendation but I imagine it was good, though not raving.
I mentioned a few clubs that I was involved in, though I had no leadership roles.
Overall this is not a hard school to get into. It seems to be either a safety school, not a dream school.  Business - Management and Administration

Lots of community service, and extracurricular activities. SAT scores where not bad at all and my essay i worked hard on. Just work hard in high school work on the essay and should be good. History/Histories (art history/etc.)

Average stats all around (3.0 GPA, 1270 SAT). Guys have it much easier due to the disproportionate ratio. Out-of-staters will also have a tougher time getting in. Overall, show some interest in the school (take the tour, talk about it in the essay), have above-average grades (3.0+ for guys, 3.5+ for girls) and write a decent essay and you should have a good chance. AP courses, good essays, high SAT score, and a few extra cirricular activities. |
