Average stats all around (3.0 GPA, 1270 SAT). Guys have it much easier due to the disproportionate ratio. Out-of-staters will also have a tougher time getting in. Overall, show some interest in the school (take the tour, talk about it in the essay), have above-average grades (3.0+ for guys, 3.5+ for girls) and write a decent essay and you should have a good chance. lots of extracurricular activities to get in if your a freshman. they look at GPA more than SAT's. have good reccomendations and send a resume even though they don't ask for it - it'll make you look better. Transfer students have a much easier time getting in then freshman (that applys to all colleges though) and as long as you have a strong record from your college grades you'll be fine, they dont look at high school stuff as much if your a transfer. good luck getting in! AP courses, good essays, high SAT score, and a few extra cirricular activities. |
