I prayed a lot and asked God to letJul 22 2008Psychology
I prayed a lot and asked God to let everything go smoothly if this was where He wanted me to be. He was definitely faithful and I know this is where He wants me. I would recommend an active prayer life when considering NOBTS. Just let God lead you.
ACT: 24 Female
Apply earlyJul 21 2008Religion/Religious
Apply early. The application process is time consuming, and each step is dependent on the one before, so be sure to leave enough time to get everything completed in time.

I had to fill out all of the requiredJul 21 2008Religion/Religious
I had to fill out all of the required paperwork complete with references, testimony, and all of the other pertinent information. Since I moved from out-of-state, I also had to take out a loan through Chase in order to afford housing and tuition. Avoid loans if you can, but if you have to take one out it's not the end of the world. Just be sure to use the money wisely. Also, in September and in April of every year students are encouraged to fill out the online grant application. Definitely do that because you will get money back for sure.
SAT: 1050 Male
I filled out and application, wrote a short essayJul 20 2008Religion/Religious
I filled out and application, wrote a short essay on my "conversion experience" and had my pastor, a mentor and a close friend fill out character referrences. Simple as that.
