Finacial Aid made it impossible for 5 years toMar 16 2004Biology
Finacial Aid made it impossible for 5 years to get aid because I was not able to acquire tax returns from my parents, who are divorced and whom I did not recieve support from. During my education there, Financial Aid system raised the minumum age of requiring parental tax returns, so I was cut off during my education, then told that I must make payments on my current loan balance. In other words, I was treated as though I dropped out of college, when in fact, my finacial aid was cut off though no fault of my own. Then I had to come up with monthly payments even though I did not have an education yet. My experience at NSU was very burdensome to to beaurocratic difficulties imposed on me. It was one situation after another, and all I wanted to do is study in peace. That is why I transferred to NDSU in 1992. Honestly, when I talk to anyone about NSU, I tell them that it sucked. I have mostly bad memories. There where some professors that where very kind, however.
