I was an "Average" student all throughout school andApr 28 2017Communications
I was an "Average" student all throughout school and enjoyed the social aspect all my life! I was an only child so socializing was a big part of my life. I do believe my social life played a part in my average performance. On the flip side I ALWAYS wanted to go to college my entire life! THANK GOD for NSU I was able to attend college let alone go against all the ODDS! My guidance counselor encouraged me to start community college after high school.

I listened however didn't get any fulfillment and I think I was a bit sad that the few friends I did have left to attend other universities. Long story short I attended one admissions session at my local community college and never went back. NSU sent me my acceptance letter at the VERY last minute! I was totally elated but due to limited finances I didn't have any additional resources. So I ended up sitting out the first semester & a call from a good friend who was transferring to NSU looking for a roommate reignited my drive!

I reapplied and was set to attend Spring 2011! My performance skyrocketed and I graduated ON TIME even after starting late. I can truly say I LOVE NSU! I would encourage anyone to attend! HBCU's have molded MANY professional into SUCCESS STORIES! even me!

Pretty easy to get in they often do on the spot acceptance on certain days, you just have to bring a transcript and a completed application and they sometimes wave the app fee! Just visit the campus too and talk to admissions they are usually very nice.
